The primary responsibility of Internal Affairs is to ensure the integrity of the Sheriff's Office. Internal Affairs also monitors the relationship between the community and the Sheriff's Office and strives to nurture mutual trust. It serves as a mechanism of internal accountability by receiving, processing and investigating complaints concerning employee conduct. These complaints may allege violations of criminal law or Sheriff's policy and may originate from outside sources or from within the Sheriff's Office.
Child Safety Seat Checks
Our staff holds periodic child seat safety checks. Do you know if your seat is installed properly? We'll check it for you - for free. We can also have one of our certified child safety seat installers come to you and assist you in installing your seat in your vehicle. Call us at 804-633-5400 to take advantage of this service.
