How can you help us?

Many of our citizens and employees have asked how they can assist the sheriff's office in accomplishing its mission of not only deterring and solving crimes, but also how to improve the quality of life for all of us here in Caroline County.  To that end, this new section of the website has been created to address just that - how can you help us? 

Some of the ideas are simple - help us to help you not be a victim.  Lock your doors and windows when leaving home.  Don't leave valuables in plain sight in your vehicles, and lock the vehicle.  Don't make things easy for the criminal.  If you'd like to learn more about crime prevention, home surveys, business surveys, neighboorhood watch programs and other ways you can help prevent crime, contact us!  We'd be glad to help!   Do you have information about a crime that has been committed?  Call us on our anonymous tip line at 804-633-1133.  Your call will remain confidential.

Help us fund your DARE program!

Among our most important programs is DARE, or drug abuse resistance education.  This program teaches our young people about the dangers and consequences of drug use.  The Caroline County Sheriff's Office is offering coffee mugs and t-shirts when supporters offer us a minimum donation.  While we always need and accept donations for DARE programs, to help show your support, we offer the incentives in return. 

For a minimum donation of $10.00, you will receive a DARE coffee mug.  For a minimum donation of $15.00, you will receive a 100% cotton Caroline Sheriff's Office DARE t-shirt in the size of your choice.  Feel free to stop by the sheriff's office at 118 Courthouse Lane, just east of Main Street, to make your donation and pick up yours today!

Help us purchase new equipment!

The Sheriff's Office is striving to improve and has grown greatly since January 2004.  Technology has grown leaps and bounds, allowing police across the country to solve more crimes and solve them more rapidly.  Budget issues potentially limit the purchase of some needed equipment.  Your donation could help fund new programs, extend existing programs, or fund other needs not specifically covered by the budget.  ANY donation is appreciated and does help to defray costs.  The sheriff's office has recently received a specially designed custom coffee mug to offer to those who make a minimum donation to the sheriff's office.  The mugs were purchased with private funds for fundraising efforts   The front of the mug shows a Caroline Sheriff's badge.  The rear shows the patch of your Caroline County Sheriff's Office.  For a minimum donation of $10.00, you can receive one of these attractive mugs and show your support for your Caroline County Sheriff's Office.  Stop by our office and get yours today!
