Caroline County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a full time dispatcher. Applicants must posses a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, polygraph and drug screening. Must possess basic computer skills. The closing date for applications is January 31st.
A sheriff's office application may be downloaded below or obtained by picking one up at the office located at 118 Courthouse Lane in Bowling Green. The original application (faxes are NOT accepted) must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) by 4 p.m. on posted closing date. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be processed. We ONLY accept applications when we are advertising for vacancies.
A thorough background investigation and written testing are a part of our hiring process. After all applications have been screened, a testing date will be announced. For those seeking sworn employment in a courts or road law enforcement position, a polygraph, drug testing and work performance tests are a part of the hiring process. We also require a physical at the applicant's expense.
