Caroline County Sheriff's Office Receives
State Certification

Sheriff Lippa and Captain C. S. Moser receive the certification award from Robyn deSocio
of the Virginia Compensation Board

Caroline Sheriff A. A. “Tony” Lippa, County Administrator Percy Ashcraft and the members of the Board of Supervisors are pleased to announce that certification of the Sheriff’s Office by the Virginia Compensation Board has been awarded. This 116 step process involves inspectors verifying all aspects of the sheriff's office operations to see that basic standards are met.
The Caroline County Sheriff's Office was unanimously recommended for certification by the reviewers. Sheriff A. A. "Tony" Lippa remarked, "I am both pleased and proud to announce that your Caroline County Sheriff's Office has achieved this certification. This is the first time that Caroline County has received certification in these Department of Criminal Justice Services standards. When I first ran for office, I stated I wanted to achieve certification and I'm pleased to announce we have accomplished this during my first term in office. Achieving this goal will instill further pride and professionalism in all our personnel."
