Relief Fund Established for Ladysmith Volunteer Fire Company Chief Butch Hoskins

 

A financial relief fund has been established for Ladysmith Volunteer Fire Company Chief Murel “Butch” Hoskins, who suffered a brain aneurysm on April 25.  Chief Hoskins remains hospitalized following surgery and faces an extensive recovery period during which he will be unable to return to work.

 

Chief Hoskins has been an active member of the fire company for 26 years, including service on the Hazardous Materials and Dive Rescue Teams and dedicated participation in company fund raising efforts.  In addition to his fire company service, he has been an active member of civic organizations that serve the citizens of Caroline County for many years.

 

Donations will be used to offset medical and family living expenses while he is incapacitated.  Contributions may be sent to:
